Default Canada post and the USA post

Has anyone sent a Express envelope to the U S from Canada?

What happens is the Canadian side scans it to the point leaving Canada and then nothing happens on the USA side.........

Has it happened to you?

By the way it's my passport renewal.

Does anyone know why there is a hold up on scanning information as I check the tracking number on the web and only find the Canadian post scanning being done.

Any help would/is appreciated.

Try going to the USPS website and putting in the tracking number.

Also depending on the what the US equivalent service is, there may only be a scan on delivery.

USPS only confirms delivery on priority mail or foreign equivalent and not scanning en route.

Likely wont see a scan until delivery once in the US.

Well checking the USPS website was a very good idea (Thank you Jsmth321) as It was recorded on there, (Tracking number) but I found out was not as great news the silly post office tried delivering it to the DC. Embassy on a Saturday, Valentines day of all days as well.
So I sent them a nice e mail telling them just that, Embassy and a Saturday, and today is a holiday there, so no at the Embassy again, they left a notice for pickup of which I am sure they wouldn't do that, so in my e mail I asked them hopefully it would be delivered safely on Tuesday, as it has important information about my passport in it.

Update it was delivered at 13.13pm today a whole 10days some express mail that was, it should have been there last Thursday, regular mail wouldn't have taken any longer than that, but of course no signature or record etc, so they have you by the you no what's.
