I seem to have said (way back) that "some religions are less charitable than others" by which I meant less kind or less forgiving. I think it's fair to say that forgiveness is an underlying theme in Christianity whereas obedience and revenge are common themes in Islam. To my mind that makes one more charitable than the other. Not that I subscribe to either system.

Nevertheless the extremists have many anti-thetical values to Western culture, particularly towards women you may have noticed. Liberals in the West ought to have a bit more backbone against these threats and injustices.
