Hi, some time ago I posted a thread about moving to Canada in later life. I had some very helpful replies to my questions/thoughts/concerns, including one from a person in Nova Scotia. She said she could understand my concerns as she was in a similar situation to me. She had moved from the UK leaving children and grandchildren behind. She sent me her email address but when I responded to it, it bounced back to me. If this lady still visits this forum could she please get in touch with me again? We're not moving for a little while yet but next spring hope to come over and recce some areas, most probably in Southern Ontario. (I don't actually dislike the UK, by the way. I know it has its faults, but so does every country.)This is a second marriage for both of us. My husband is Canadian and thinks we can afford a place in Canada on his pension, which we can't do here. I have lived in Ontario for a year and studied there as well. I enjoyed my time there and felt at home, but, obviously do have some qualms, similar to ones others have posted on this site. I remind myself that I will only be about a 7 hour flight back to the UK, and I know there are phone calls, email etc, but it's still a bit scary! I have this idea that I can let my pension mount up here and it won't take too long to get a flight back! I hope I won't be mistaken:-( It would be encouraging to hear of others good experiences.

So if you used a different name try that if you have the user that said email the look for them and the send a PM to them

So if you put some information in like this time your may narrow it down.
