Default Can I do Medical before interview schedule ?

Hello all,

It happen to me, able to talk with immigration officer, I asked him/her about my interview schedule. Got answer, approximate time for waiting is now 10-12 months. Then he/she took my name and contact number, If there any cancellation in interview, they can call me for interview if Am I able to attend within the time? I said yes.
So I m not sure if this miracle will happen to me. But I want to make myself ready for any situations. I am already in Queue for interview scheduling from last 10 months, not heard from them anything yet.

So to make my self-ready I have to go for medical. So my question is.
1) Is it advisable to have medical done before getting interview schedule? cus medical is valid for 12 months only.

2) if this miracle doesn't happen and my interview schedule in next 4 months. Will the immigration officer be able to find my result after receiving from Ottawa? What is chance loss of medical result?

Cheers
And thanks in advance

You can't do it, you just have to wait. It clearly says in the guides and on
the CIC website and practicaly everywhere do not do your medical until they
send you the forms to do it. they wont accept it and then you will just have
to do another medical when the tiem arrives so you will be wasting your
money. also unless you do get the miracle of a cancelation then your
interview wont be for another 10-12 months then add another 3-4 months at
least after that so a medical done now would expire before then anywya and
youd have to do another one, which is preceicley why they dont give you the
forms so early.

Greetings,

I decided to go and have my medical examination proactively in Toronto. My lawyer managed to obtain a list of qualified docters worldwide and I managed to get an appointment within a week and then went along to the doctor's office.

I mentioned that I was having the tests for Immigration reasons and they gave me all the relevant immigration forms that I needed to complete.

After the tests I went to the local hospital to have my chest x-rays done. All in all it took about 3 hours in total.

Everything was sent through to Detroit and attached to my case so that when I finally got my interview everything was down and they issued my LIS on the spot.
