Default Can it get any harder !!!

How much harder will this get !

Just got back from our holiday to Egypt and the West of England - both stunning to find that neither Estate Agents have arranged any viewings of our property. We were told it was priced right and that we would have no problems selling it !

Now it looks as if we are going to rent it out as the market is even struggling in London !

This is not great news as we now wont have so much of a nest egg on arrival. We should be able to make things work, but just.

Only things we will need to buy is a nice table and chairs set for the Dining Room, 2 Beds(linnen and pillows), a fridge/ freezer (Double door), a large flat screen LCD TV 46", DVD Player, Microwave and a 2nd hand car. Possibly a BBQ.

Anyone have any idea of costs of such items? If so "Come on Down - The Price is Right !"

Seriously though I am cracking under the strain !!!!

If things are going to be tight on arrival, do you really need to buy a 46" LCD TV?

Where are you moving to?

To get an idea on prices check out www.thebrick.com / www.futureshop.ca / www.autotrader.ca

Are you renting or buying over here?

Ditch the car. A car is big budget item when you count insurance and whatnot. Get two metro passes and a car share membership for days when you have to fetch giant televisions.

Be aware that the double door fridge/freezers come in standard and counter depth. If you have it fitted into a kitchen space and don't want it jutting out too far you need the counter depth which are more expensive (approx $2000). You could get a standard depth one for around $1400
