We are thinking of doing some camping at the end of August when we have settled in so if you find good places please share.

No it is just a walking park to view wildlife and plants and other things.
Rissers is a great park and they have some nice camp sites but it often gets booked up early because it is so popular. Keji can also get booked. I recall going one time and had to go into a holding area to wait for some people to leave....it sure is nice once you get in there. We also love Fundy Park in NB....that was great also.

This is a good one right on the water http://gulfshorecampingpark.com/ and close to most things golf course just along the road. They do good breakfasts, lunches etc.
There is one on Malagash (no website found) close to the wharfe and the Blue Sea Beach, but there is a small beach just across from the campsite. There is a local market to save driving into Tatamagouche.

Most other campsites can be found on here and you can search on location.

If you do come up this way we could meet up and point you in the direction of all the local attractions etc. We have a lovely spot (4 acres grass, trees at the back, ocean on 2 sides) and I have thought of camping out there myself, but it does not have facilities. It is on the edge of Wallace Bay http://www.wallacebythesea.ca/ with lovely views and the village is just across the water. You are welcome to camp there. Some friends of ours have a webcam looking out towards Wallace Bay from their shop on Wallace Ridge http://www.thymeandplace.ca/about.htm We have not had a problem with black fly, but some areas are experiencing quite a lot of mosquitoes. The closer you are to the ocean usualy the better it is. Have a good time wherever you go.
