As far as I can make out, blood is taken and the white cells separated. Those cells are marked with something (I'm guessing an isotope) and then injected back in. A while later a scan is taken to find out where the white cells are clustering, ie, where the infection is.

Hi Jen,
I am about to qulaify as a radiographer in the UK. I have my PR visa and i am moving over to Canada in 12 weeks time.
