Just wondering what is it like? do they have kids programs, much sport (any english football on?) and the major thing for Mrs Dazed, is Friends and ER on?


I suppose with living on the doorstep of the Rockies we wont be watching much

calgary tv is full of the same stuff as british tv,coron ation st,2 live footie games on a sat morning,fulham v leeds at moment.
get cable and you'll get fox sports with 2 games on sun and one on monday,all premiership matches.
friends is on every night is seems weth new episodes on thursdays I believe.
bbccanada has good brit programes and you'll never be short of the usual mind numbing rubbish thats called reality tv.

ps you cant go to the mountains every weekend ,not after friday nights in town(hic)

Local news: almost the same thing daily they talk about COWS for the first ten minutes then they talk about SCHOOLS for another ten minutes, Calgary is more prairie than mountain though on a clear day you can see them.

Not forgetting re-runs of inspector morse and heartbeat of course
You can also get changing rooms, while you were out, sell this house, curb appeal, debby travis, and clean sweep on HGTV, am sure the mrs will love those. As a bloke, i love these shows
