Have been keeping an eye on this forum for a while with excellent info on it. Just got job offer to work as electrician in Calgary and waiting for letter from AIT to apply for TWP. We, wife,I and 2 girls (4 and 2), are relocating from Ireland so anyone looking for a holiday home in the west of Ireland !!!

One of the bigger concerns is finding interim accommodation prior to renting and also some suitable childcare facilities. I know we can apply for PR under the PNP but is it possible to apply for PR once in Canada and get it before Work Permit expires?

I can't offer any answers myself I am afraid, but I will be interested in any replies as myself and family (husband and two children of 5 and 1) are hoping to arrive in Calgary next year and I have the same questions. One of my worries is the interim accommodation thing as we don't have any plans to buy for a long while until we completely suss the place out and know where we want to live (and save some money ).
