Hi, My husband has Canadian citizenship via birth and having travelled Canada for 6 months in 2004 we have finally decided to make the leap. We are just having difficutly in where to settle.
We have been to Calgary and did like it and experienced the winter weather
but didn't go to NS and my OH quite fancies life by the sea so wonders whether we should try there first. Can anyone give us any idea of life in NS, Halifax etc as a guide.
Thanks
Janette

We have a large network here in NS you can email me and I can put in touch with families already here, some have been here awhile and others have just arrived..We have been here over fifteen years and love the ocean and the life style here and the communities and people , If you enjoy a slower pace of life and want to down shift a gear or two on stress levels then theres no contest.

They're at completely different ends of the spectrum, so it really depends what you are looking for.
We've been in Halifax for just over a month now, having moved from Alberta, and the two cities (and provinces) are like chalk and cheese.

We are planning on moving to NS 2012/2013. How can you join NS BE's Group. It would be great to get some more advice from everyone on here
