Cabins-Banff/Jasper

Anyone recommend any good cabins in Jasper and/or Banff. We're looking to go probably mid-september for a week or so.
Doesn't have to be anything fancy, a firepit and a bed will suffice, although somewhere quiet and in the wildnerness would be nice.
Any suggestions gratefully receieved!

We recently spent a few nights at Patricia Lake Bungalows (www.patricialakebungalows.com).
Whilst not exactly in the wilderness, being just 5 minute drive from Jasper townsite, the bungalows are in a beautiful lakeside setting and it certainly feels 'away from it all'.
They had quite a range of cabins / bungalows from memory, our one had two bedrooms and a small living / kitchen area with a fire. Fairly basic but clean and nice enough. There was a communal barbecue area and hot tub.
We really liked it and would definitely go back.
A few friends of ours use Baker Creek Chalets (sort of between Banff and Lake Louise) and really like it there. We haven't used them but have driven past and the certainly look nice.
I'm sure you'll get loads of suggestions.

Some friends of our recently stayed at the Pocohontas Cabins outside Jasper (they have two daughters who just had to stay somewhere with that name
).
They said the cabins were fine, but the trucks howling past on the main highway about 200 yrds away were not so welcome

Try Baker Creek on Bow Valley Parkway, stayed there 4 times now. Fantastic location, amazing food at the bistro andabout 10-15 minutes drive from Lake Louise. Was there a couple of weeks ago and saw a mum and cub Grizzly

We stayed a Becker's chalets last year.
Fairly basic but fine and we would definately stay again.
Nice to sit out on the ariondacks by the river!

We have stayed at (Banff) http://www.castlemountain.com/index.html, really liked it but the nearest place for dining out is Storm mountain lodge which is pricey - you could always BBQ though. I also really liked Num-Ti-Jah Lodge - very oldy worldy and pricey, I'd like to stay there again but hubby thinks it's too rustic.
We have also stayed (Jasper) at Pyramid Lake resort - pricey, lovely view, we had a ground floor condo and there were elephants upstairs that kept us awake all night. I would not reccommend Bear Hill Lodge, not all the cabins are the pretty ones on the website. I booked two and in the special requests I had mentioned it was for MIL's 80th bithday - we got the garden shed type cabin, they were the most expensive cabins we had booked for the trip and the crappiest.

In May we stayed at Patrica Lake Bungalows,(Jasper) and we put my parents in a lake front cabin in Pine Suites, which is part of their new Grove at Patricia Lake development.
The cabin was amazing, the view was stunning. I'll attach a couple of photos of the cabin and the view, but some I took with my phone so they are not great quality. http://www.patricialakebungalows.com/
In Banff we stayed in condo's at Hidden Ridge Resort. They are doing construction up there at the moment so the road is pretty bumpy, but the condo's were great and the hot pools were brilliant, with a fantastic view.
My dad particularly enjoyed getting his photo taken in the pool, to send in to MCN, which was then in MCN the week after he got home
