I have visions of what you must have typed into Google to find this !!!

Alas, it was only "leather couch urine human dog", the product didn't fix my problem but the sales guy was hugely entertaining, I hadn't previously considered the janitorial challenges presented by violent death (I love America, nothing's too stange). I don't know if that company really made Jeffrey Dahlmer's fridge fit for reuse but I was happy to pay them for a product they thought only had a 50% chance of being effective.

I expected the high taxes and duties but some speciality products are not available here and one just has to pay. Anything for older cars would be an example; the duty on lift-the-dots and knock off hubs is an outrage but one has no choice.

Don't know if it's available in Canada, but in the US I've had good success with a product called Elimin-Odor. It comes in canine or feline formulations; no human version that I am aware of. You can get it at the vets or online.

I had a condo that I rented out furnished and the tenants had a little Sh*t Zu or whatever that p'd on the sofa cushions. The Elimin-Odor didn't completely wipe out the smell if you stuck your nose right in the fabric, but close enough that we didn't have to scrap the fairly expensive sofa-bed type item.

Thanks. The problem with the stuff I have is that it neutralises through contact, I dismantled the sofa but I don't think I got into all the corners.

Just another example for you.

I ordered a radio scanner from eBay. They seller charged about $20US to send to Canada via United States Postal Service (USPS). Canada Post charged me a total of $23 to import. This included GST & handling fee. The declared value of the item was $149US which is the end price of the auction.

Interestingly the GST was based on the item value & postage charge combined, but I was happy to pay the extra $23CAD as the radio is not available in Canada and the distributor refuses to sell to Canada directly
