We are considering purchasing a Condo in Toronto. Daughter Canadian and I am non Canadian. Apart from foreigner’s tax of 15%, are there other Canadian property legislation which we should be aware of between buying solely under her name or jointly with me?

I have been in Canada 12 years now. I think with a condo you want to make sure of many things. It will depend on if your buying a pre con or existing one. Also you may pay more when time comes to sell it in future. Is your daughter or card status. Better she buys it in her name fully. You can just help her fund it.
