Has anyone bought food items from Brit Superstore in Dover? If so did you have to pay customs on your goodies.
I want to order some Colmans mustard which I can't find here and Branston Pickle, the latter being $2.00 less than what I found in the supermarket. I shall pay in sterling anyway.
Their prices seem to be pretty good.

Keen as mustard.
I saw some Branston in Metro in Cobourg, didn't check out the price though as it's not gluten free so can't have it.

I am in Cobourg, and it was in Metro I saw the Branston at $4.99. No Frills don't carry it any more and they were a bit cheaper.

Are you coming to the Cobourg beach meet up ?

Plus one vote for Keens. It's available in many supermarkets, like Loblaws, and it's the same as Colman's. I buy it all the time.

I had no idea. I've seen Keen's but never bought it, on the the presumption that it would be weak North American crap. I like strong mustard, me.

You can get Coleman's powdered mustard here. It's very pleasant on a ham sandwich.

Apparently Walkers have stopped making Marmite crisps.

I see Branston Pickle on sale in Safeway here in Vancouver frequently for $3.99.

I have never tasted either so I'm just passing on what was said.

Oo Steve, you haven't lived. Thick slices of crusty white bread, a strong sharp cheddar, unsalted butter and branston. Now that's a fine meal, maybe even fit for a ploughman.
