To buy while here or wait for Toronto?
just wondered with our imminent move what was worth buying here and taking over to toronto. My mobile is broken, is it worth paying for one here or waiting etc... thanks

they reckon canadian mobile phone tech is a bit behind ours
if you can get a multi-band here with a multi-volt charger i'd get one now

I would wait and buy what ever I need in Canada, since some services may not be available there.

Wait and buy here. Not all cell networks use GSM phones so depending on where you are and who you use, your super duper UK phone might not work here.

I brought my mobile phone to Canada, Virgin mobile are pretty good and worked out cheaper than most networks here.
