Then forget leasing or a new financed car. Just buy a nice little runaround 2nd hand.

We've opted for the old banger option. Johnsons were the only company that we could get to accept our 15 year no claims from the UK. $900 for the first year.

yeah, would agree with buying a run around, particularly for Winter months. We bought a banger for 2,000 dollars and its done us grand since arriviing 6 months ago. you will need to keep your finances down so having a lease loan or car loan is just going to add to your outgoings. Just my thoughts.

Ontario appears a most uncivilized place to live. We have a 2012 Mazda 3, a 2001 Yukon and a house, all insured.for less than $2,000 a year. Only been here a week of two short of 5 years, with 3 accidents in Canada (all no fault of course) but still...
