Thanks guys,
i guess i will have to see when i get out there.
All i really need will be something reliable, low maintenence cost that can get from A to B for the initial time while we are finding our feet in the GTA.
We currently have a 9 year old Vauxhall Corsa, so im not after anythign fancy just somethign that will enable us to have some additioanl freedom while living in Canada.

We've opted for the old banger option. Johnsons were the only company that we could get to accept our 15 year no claims from the UK. $900 for the first year.

yeah, would agree with buying a run around, particularly for Winter months. We bought a banger for 2,000 dollars and its done us grand since arriviing 6 months ago. you will need to keep your finances down so having a lease loan or car loan is just going to add to your outgoings. Just my thoughts.

Ontario appears a most uncivilized place to live. We have a 2012 Mazda 3, a 2001 Yukon and a house, all insured.for less than $2,000 a year. Only been here a week of two short of 5 years, with 3 accidents in Canada (all no fault of course) but still...
