We just spent 4.5 years in Alberta, came back to UK at xmas for relatives but have realized that it was a mistake and are currently saving to move back to Canada. We love the look of NS as it is more lush than the Prairies which is one thing I really missed(trees and the Ocean).. So if there are others in the same boat(so to speak lol) or you have already moved out there and want to share what life is like where you live. I would really appreciate your input.. there is already a fb group with over a 100 brits in ns linked up, its called BE's of novascotia, seems a shame to double up when what you are looking for is already there

We moved to ns about 3 years ago from the UK. We also spend time in Alberta and can appreciate the ocean/tree thing. There is already a facebook group for expats in nova scotia if you search it out you may find what you are looking for.

Hey Thanks for the replies.. Very helpful!.. I have changed the group now to aim at woman expats, more as a support network as I heard a very sad story recently about a lady who was in a very bad place and didn't know where to turn.. Thanks again.

as Nikki said, there is a very good facebook group called BEs of Nova scotia, I really recommend it, many supportive people on there, in Nova Scotia. Good luck
