British driving licence in Quebec
#1
Quick question: I have been in Quebec (Montreal) for 7 months, I want to hire a car to go on a trip to Ottawa. Obviously my license is no longer valid, what's the process to get a Canadian one?
I know the DVLA equivalent here is the SAAQ, do I jut go in and ask? anyone know?
Thanks

It appears I do not need a test, but I wonder how much it costs. Also what documents are required.

Sigh. Sometimes you have to read the whole page...
After the article, under "Headings", it says "New Residents of Québec who Hold a Driver's Licence Issued by a Jurisdiction that has Entered into an Agreement with Québec Regarding the Exchange of a Driver's Licence". Click that.
Then under Headings again, click "General Conditions for Driver's Licence Exchange".
