Default The Brit Superstore Online...

I just received an order from this online store & am really pleased. The delivery took just 5 days to arrive & although its not cheap, it is great to be able to get some treats at Christmas

WOW, was seriously tempted to place an order, particularly for Tesco curry sauces - can I be nosey in relation to delivery. My order wasn't that big just over £38 but delivery was more than this, bringing the order to over £84. They don't make it clear how they calculate delivery. Is it better to wait and place a large order or does it make no real difference to delivery costs. Also did you have any problems with customs. I really am in the notion for chocolate!!!!

well I went a bit crazy with the ordering & my delivery charge was 50 pounds the weight of my order however was 15kgs so I was expecting the postage to be expensive
My order included 8 bottles of ginger beer & 2 boxes of sweets (1kg each), a christmas cake & an assortment of other bits & bobs. I had 20 items in my order.
I am not sure how they figure out the postage but it is sent via Parcel Force with a tracking number
It isn't something I would do on a regular basis but I figured that as it was christmas, we should push the boat out

Also, no probs with customs, I wasn't charged any extra for duties etc.

as soon as I have a bit of spare cash I am placing my order - bottles of ginger beer how fab, I love it, better than irn bru any day. I wanted a couple of boxes of the chocolates on offer. I used to get the family to bring over Tesco's ginger beer as it was only about 50p for a 2 litre bottle and it was wonderful but now as they come on the lower costs flights they have reduced luggage allowance so it is too heavy.

I have booked marked the site for future purchases. I've been in the UK shops here and they can charge up to 3 or 4 times the labeled price so even with delivery this still works out cheaper.

Thanks for highlighting this wonderful site, I appreciate it.

Interesting that this is popular. You can get Ginger Beer at Real Canadian Superstore, though as someone once joked on here you could use it as paint stripper! (very strong!). I got mincemeat from Pricesmart (also available at superstore I believe) and made mince pies which was fun! Not a lot I really miss but it's good the option is there for people.

I too make mince pies & usually make my Christmas cake but I thought it might be fun this year to have some treats from 'home'.
The ginger beer I bought is Bundaberg. Its an Aussie drink & unlike anything else I have tried.
Like you, there isn't much we miss but once I started looking at the site, there were all sorts of things that I 'missed' I even bought a box of crunchy nut cornflakes
Merry Christmas x

Can't find Twiglets anywhere around where I live, and no Colemans stores as far as I know. Although Marmite is sometimes stored in supermarkets, albeit tiny jars costing millions of dollars each. I'm still waitng for my 3 tons of Twiglets and we shall have a Twiglet party, everyone welcome.

YES!! Nesquick Banana milkshake, a favourite of mine. But can only find strawberry, chocolate (mainly) and rasberry. Oh and I crave Walkers cheese and onion crisps (chips).

And blancmange.

Me and my two grown up boys love banana but dose not seem to be available in Canada, there was a on line campaign to have it supplied in Canada at one time.

I've just done a search on this britstore for banana nesquik and they do 500g for 3 pounds 49p. Might get 14 boxes of it to drink with the Twiglets.
