Re: Bringing DVD films into Canada
Yup, as a few folks say above, a multi-region DVD player is the best way to go. We picked up a fairly cheap one here (BC, Canada) & it plays my DVD's from the UK without a glitch! :)

When we arrived here we bought a Nova DVD player, although it is multi region it seem to have problems with copies. We have now got a phillips for $99 from Best Buy! We got a code from the net and it's now region free. All it took was a number to be tapped in via remote and it work great!!! :)

Linda P Can someone recommend a website or source for the unlocking codes for dvds, we bought one recently and can't get it unlocked. The children are a bit annoyed when we can't watch our UK dvds of Thomas the Tank Engine on this machine. Thanks! |

Hi, If you use google and type "region hack, then add the make of your dvd player. i.e region hack phillips 550. It should bring up the web sites. Hope this helps :) Linda |
