Hello

I am a Stonemason/Bricklayer living in Ontario. There is plenty of work in this province and its the same in most of the others. So your friend should have no problem getting work.

Cheers

Steve

Moved to main forum - this spamfest has nothing to do with immigration.

Recruiters, please post in the "Job Offers" forum - job seekers, please look there.

thats a strange view to take, for those of us involved in construction immigration means pnp which as you probably know, requires a job offer.
for the op, theres plenty of firms looking for brickies in BC and Alberta, it took me literally two weeks to find a job with a company already involved with the BC pnp.
good luck.

Hi Simon, have family in Surrey and friends in Coquitlam, but not in Building trade. When we were over there in 2006 and 2007 didn't need to find out about the wages etc as the building was ok. It has now fell into a deep hole and thinking of trying to join them in B.C. What type of money can you earn given you are prepared to graft and is it daywork or can you get pricework.i am fishing at the moment but if i can get a working visa or like me and the mrs may well try it as it looks very bleak over here. Thanks in advance for your input.Paul.
