hi would be interested in any info and advice on where to start looking for bricklaying jobs, interested in alberta or british columbia

There would not be much call for bricklayers in Alberta as the majority of building are constructed of wood.

I am a bricklayer who lives in calgary,been here four years and not been out of work since arriving, were to do people get the notion that alberta does'nt have any brickwork.

I think people envision the typical British red brick. Here, it's more likely to involve the masonry block (or "breeze block" in the UK), which is a very commonly used product here.
