Hi looking for some information, anything really?
What the work situation for bricklayers and concreters is like?
What sort of money I'd be earning?
How easy is the immigration side of things?
We know someone who lives there, he's an ironworker and earns around 3 times as much as he would here and his living expenses are half of what they would be. The uk is a sinking ship for construction doesn't matter how high the wages are in a few years will all be struggling again and I want better than that!
Anyone who can help that'll be great!!

Start by having a really good read of the Wiki section. It's the fourth tab from the left on the blue bar above. It contains a wealth of information and should answer most, if not all, of your questions. When you have given it a good read come back with specific questions.
Things are not great in Alberta at the moment because of the state of the oil and gas industry.
Good luck. Doing this homework may well save you a lot of grief later on.

Hi for some reason it won't let me do it?
Spoke to the owner of a masonry company over there he said he would be happy to help and they are always looking for bricklayers, is £39 an hour a decent wage over there?
Thanks

You should be able to access the wiki - I've put the link above for you.
There's lots and lots of articles about emigrating/temp work permits etc., and I would recommend you make a cuppa and have a good read.

I suspect you mean $39 (dollars) and that would be a good wage.

The Alberta economy is pretty bad right now buti have heard that construction will start to take off next year, how true all this is I don't know, but it's certainly not the land of jobs and opportunity it was even a year ago.

We're going out there for a few weeks in the spring/summer to have a look about the place and work out exactly where we want to go

Hi, how old are you?
Do you have any other citizenships apart from the UK? Irish, for example?

if you're under 30 and have no ties you could consider the IEC 2 year holiday working visa. These are very popular and limited in number, but have very few restrictions or conditions on them, so you can pretty much work anywhere for anyone doing almost anything.

Yes that's why I asked. Between 18-30 (inclusive) when you submit your profile to the pool for UK citizens and between 18-35 (inclusive) if you have Irish nationality.
