You naughty boy.

Looking at the OP's flight schedule he will need 3 months to get over the journey.

I've flown to Australia twice before, never suffered from any jet lag or anything.

Bring it on I say.

What are you talking about!!!!
He's already said all this flight times in GMT so its a total 15hr journey. 8hrs of that are in Toronto so he's only in the air for 7 hrs. Wish I could fly Calgary to Manchester in that time.

It's a little mountain town, from what I understand.

So, anyone got any suggestions for things to do during the 8 hour wait in Toronto?

Mandi, 7hr time difference.

SO if times are local that means 18:30 (manchester time) arrival....18:30-9:30= 9hrs.

IF times are GMT thats a 2 hr flight.

Were do you get 10hrs?

We were there at Christmas and there a quite a few shops where you can get a book or paper. Also some good places to grab a bite to eat and the good thing is that the prices are good not just double because you are in the airport. We didn't leave the building so I don't know if there is anything close by that you can do.

Woh woh Stop just there...If you land in Calgary at 11.30 and don't take off for 3 hours, take it that Manchester is gospel, that means to travel from London to Toronto and fly on to Vancouver would be 5 hours LESS the time taken for the 2 hours waiting at Pearson (who's missing) doesn't that mean that the 13.43 plane from Calgary takes the obligatory 7 hours flight time over Venice at 2,000 feet without jumping out to cadge a lift in a small boat? Or am I jumping up the wrong bark tree?

I doubt I'll leave the airport. Books/magazines seem the best way to waste time then. I would visit the bar, but you have to be 19 over there
