If you can be a bit more specific I'm sure you'll get some good suggestions.
City or rural, what kind of climate do you want, what sort of money will you have to rent somewhere, do you want East or West coast, do you need to be near an airport, what sort of amenities do you require, do you like winter sports and want to be near mountains or not, do you want to speak French or English (or both), etc, etc.
And most importantly, will you need a job offer to get a visa? If so, you may not get much choice in where you live and just have to go wherever you can find work and an employer prepared to go through the hassle/paperwork/wait of hiring you!

Ontario seems to have a good initiative called the 'Brain Gain'. If your wife has professional qualifications in accounting and can land a job in healthcare or education, then you will all automatically be granted entry to work and live.
At least that is what happened for me. My wife was offered a job in healthcare and I was given a two year work permit when I flew into the country - on the spot - without any prior paper work. I just told the chap behind the desk which scheme I was entering under and that seemed to satisfy him.
Ontario has a few options for you depending on what exactly you're looking for...

'Brain gain' refers to the spouses of Canadian citizens or PR being given an open work permit in Ontario, so presumably that's why you were given one?http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/departm...2011-01-30.asp
The OP hasn't mentioned his wife being Canadian so it doesn't sound as though that's the case for the OP though. He can't just rock up and start working!
Or perhaps you're referring to a Spousal Open Work Permit, is that what you were given? If so, that's nothing to do with your wife having qualifications in accounting and working in healthcare or education, it applies to any skilled occupations (which is thousands of them), and any province, simply giving the spouse of a skilled TWP holder an open work permit too.
But again, this wouldn't apply to the OP yet as one of them would need a LMO and TWP for the other to be able to do that.
