Australia was No. 3, which is a slip from its place last year as No. 2.

Frankly, this sort of thing is pointless, I agree. For example, would you want to live in Oslo, all things considered? According to the UN, we should all aspire to.

Norway is a great country. I have worked in Norway and Canada, and love both. In Norway I wasn't so impressed with Oslo on my brief visit there (I preferred the cities of Trondheim and Bergen), but the beautiful fjords in the west of Norway (where I worked) are amazing. Remote and not for everyone,(and I don't think I'd like the winters), but last summer was glorious. I plan to return there to work next summer, followed by a return to working in Canada in the autumn. Regardless, both outstrip the UK in every way in my opinion.

Yes mate you did. It'd be nice to have 100 days a year holiday like they do in Australia, but I'll just make do with my 35 :beer:
