best bargain ever !!!
 

so went into walmart on sunday had a look around as usual..in the electronics they were reducing some cameras etc for $50..so picked up a sony cybershot origanilly $249 and also a canon camcorder also worth $149..just last years stock nothing wrong with them so i thought a bargain for $100 for both..got to the check out had to get the supervisor to override and when we got outside we had been charged 50 cents for each ..stupid little girl on the till..so that was our bargain..has anyone else had such luck

If you paid by credit card, once they realise their mistake, they will go back and charge your credit card for the correct amount.

IMO $100 for both would have been a bargain, and i would have posted that proud as punch.

50c each is IMO Thats In My Opinion, nobody else's, just mine, well that is almost, but not quite, well, shoplifting.

i had brought other items so i didnt notice until i had got home..and i dont care what any of you say you would not have gone back and claimed u had been under charged...and shoplifting is when u leave the shop without paying which is not what we did as we spent $280.

I'm not so made of money that I sign or use a PIN for an amount without checking the amount.

As tempting as it might be to keep the money, I wouldn't be able to sleep for fear that someone loses their job.:(

i have to say, i would be honest and go back.

However, it is the supervisor at fault - if she was called to override and didn't notice the price - it is down to her, not the girl at the till.

Why not go back and offer to split it with them so you only pay $50.00 instead of the $100.00, I'm sure they'll go for that.

i wouldn't have thought they would get sacked for that - but as a supervisor, their job to check stuff like that. could have been the girl on the till's friend/family buying it and she was giving them a nice price.
