I posted my Application as an Independant in February 2002. I got the AOR in March, 35 days later.

I was wondering if anyone has any experience with the Berlin embassy. How long is the assesment likely to take!?

Hi Levu I have applied for my PR from Berlin Embassy. Generally it is supposed to be
quiet fast in Berlin when compared to most of the other embassies. It might take
anything from 12 to 24 months depending upon the country for the background checks.My
details Appllication received TEST 23rd April 2001 AOR TEST 22 May 2001 Intimation
that I need to attend the interview TEST- 15th June 2001 Since then heard nothing
from the embassy. Is there anyone else like me? Can anyone provide more information
in this regard. Thanking you in advance. Happy

Wow you got your assesment less than 1 month after the AOR!??

Well I've waited over almost 2 months already and heard nothing.


The interview que is quite long I think....fingers crossed I get the waiver.

Applied to Berlin Embassy on 23 Jul 2001 Recvd AOR 30 Jul 2001 Rcvd Letter informing
interview is needed. Nothing afterwards. But this is in line when you look at tha
standard time frames for Berlin.
