Belleville ON or London ON?

Re: Belleville ON or London ON?
Cops commute from Port Hope (presumably a non-diverse community) but they work shifts. Coburg would be a hell of struggle for a regular work day.

Yet...people do it and don't complain because TO is where the good jobs are. Say what you may from your little Orangeville farm land

You may have fantasized that the Mustang was my office but I never said so. I suppose if I had driven from Coburg to Toronto every day it'd have to have been.

Thanks for the suggestions.
In my research there is an area between Oshawa and Trenton that has affordable hobby farms but they seem to be a long way from a decent sized town so work would be a problem.
If we could retire with this move it wouldn`t worry me but sadly we still have to work for a good few years to come.

Re: Belleville ON or London ON?
I have direct family members who have lived in Cobourg for 13 years.
Honestly, I would be surprised if it is many who actually travel to 'Toronto' daily for work. Oshawa/Whitby/Ajax/Pickering yes but west of the Rouge River and into Toronto proper the #'s would be low. The 401, as you likely know due to travelling to Ottawa and Montreal a lot, is very busy in Durham Region most weekdays and then you would have to get through Scarborough on the 401.

A better idea maybe to commute to Oshawa then get the GO into the city

Your guess is as good as mine, there's certainly something amiss but whether it's a "could live with it for that price" or a "not with yours" type of problem I can't say. Maybe HGerchikov can see notes or warnings that we can't.
