Thanks, that's good advice. Loving Canada so far but this is proving to be quite tedious. Ah well, it is what it is I guess, just got to get used to it (or implode with frustration :ohmy:)

Am I right in thinking you would then need to leave a PC connected up to the TV all the time and you switch channels with the mouse? Sounds okay if you want to watch specific things but not so good if you just want to sit there doing a bit of channel skipping. Or is there a more "conventional" way of doing this with a remote?

netflix allows you to change using a remote and accessing it by either a smart tv or blue ray player/ps3 wii device hooked up.

If you don't have one I'd advise taking a PS3 or Xbox360, the cost would only be like 2 months of Bell or Rogers anyway.

Also once you have setup unotelly your netflix Canada will give you access to netflix USA, and also (if you have a mastercard and can write an American address) access to Hulu plus on PS3.
