Bell mobile

When wifey landed in Oct she got herself a phone on a 36 month contract from Bell, a lovely little pink number which plays a jingly little tune.
Very nice you might say...
Until her boss gave her a company phone so muggins here has inherited the little pink pixie phone
I've spoken to Bell who say it's 2 years before they'll offer an upgrade and until then my only option is to buy a new Bell phone (they don't use sim cards) and get the account switched to it. Annoyingly, the cheapest phone they do is the little pink one (which I could get in Blue) but it'll cost me over $100.
Any thoughts?
PS On a side note, if i get free local calls can I call the 1 877 number on my international calling card free? I thought local for Toronto was 416.

They don't sell covers that cover it when it's in use (it's a samsung flip phone) and when it's not being used it's in my pocket anyway. I guess I'm just going to have to get in touch with my feminine side

Thanks for looking, I spent a bit of time wandering down Yonge St looking for a case the only ones they make for the A580 are the generic ones which make it look like it's wearing a G-string. We were in stitches because I didn't believe the phone could've looked more camp until we tried it in one.

Good question re the phone card. If I use an international phone card on my cell, will I be charged even though the call would be free on a land line?
Go into Bell and kick up a massive stink. The worst that can happen is you are escorted from the store with your pink phone.
