Been here 3 months now ...

ALot of our experiences depend on our mind set, although its no good walking around with rose coloured glasses, its no good walking around with blinders either. I've found that the more balanced/moderate people between the two here have provided the best information and insight... the others are just good for a laugh

Good god i've just read your initial post and realised that we too have been here for 3 months tomorrow!!!! Where the heck did that time go?
Must get round to writing down some of my thoughts and experiences when i have some time. Maybe we should all post 3 monthly updates.
Just briefly wanted to say that we are loving it all so far. It is a huge step to take and there is a lot to do once you land and find a house and the most important thing we found is to try and remember to take time out now and again and go for that walk or cycle or drive or whatever and remind yourself why you came otherwise you get bogged down with the boring but necessary bits and end up stressed.
We have so many places to walk and cycle close by and every corner has another view to die for, the kids saw a bear up close, we have swam in lakes, cycled down mountains and floated down rivers in rubber tubes and sent lots of pictures of us smiling back to the UK to show them that we haven't made a mistake and it's not always snowing and we can enjoy ourselves without our parents living round the corner!
