Please tell my husband that I can buy ATORA BEEF SUET in Canada so that I can make his dumplings or I worry that he will never cross the water, no dumplings ,no immigration !!!!!!!!!!!

Forget The Dumplings (joking Or Otherwise)......................please Give Them Up For A New Life In Canada And A Longer One......................... Wishing You A Great Welcome To Canada From A Contented New Perm. Res. ( Sept 15th ). It Took From November 2004 But Worth It.

Good news and bad news.
Bad news first. I've never seen shredded suet here.
Good News. You can make perfectly fine dumplings without it. You just dont need the suet anyway it turns out. FWIW I did find some lump of frozen stuff in a Loblaws ("Independent") store here...I think its still in my freezer somewhere as we never had to use it in the end :scared: Maybe I can sell it on the suet blackmarket for a handsome profit

You can get suet. My family love dumplings, we have actually found that Bisquick/Presidents Choice Biscuit mix actually make better dumplings than using suet. They are lighter and fluffier - you just add milk to the biscuit mix.
