Becoming Self Employed in Ontario
Good Morning Folks,
My wife is thinking about starting her own business in Ontario. She has been trying to secure a job by dropping her Resume and covering letter on indeed until she is blue in the face
We are now at the stage of visiting employers and handing these documents personally as we have been told that we will get a better response.
The idea behind the self employed idea based on her previous experience is that it will give her more flexibility especially as we have three kids at home.
She could potentially make more money with this venture than working for minimum wage etc.
We would be interested to hear the thoughts of any expats and there experiences with running their own businesses here in Ontario.
Many Thanks
Alan.
