thought this might be of interest..
"The report shows Manitobans pay an average annual cost of $2,815 for their electricity, heating and car insurance. The next-lowest province is British Columbia with a price of $3,368 annually. The province with the highest cost for the same services is Ontario, which is $4,800 higher than Manitoba."
Somehow I do have my doubts when it comes to car insurance...or otherwise, better don't drive a car in Ontario! The systems are different though, some provinces allow private...some don't.

You are lucky in Manitoba by the sounds of it........$2,815 seems incredibly cheap for those three items I would expect to pay around $4,400 here in NS although I'm hoping that this will be last winter with an oil furnace ...$1200 elec $700 car ins $2,500 oil
