i hope that i will find some one to answer my question.
what is the bank draft??
one month ago i had an interview with the visa officer in the Canidain Embassy -Damascus- to get study permit.
after this interview she asked me to bring a bank draft -concedring that i gave them a bank statment of 25000 US$.
i was astonished and i asked the bank about this draft and they said that they can give a travellers chick ....
but because of the time i can't bring this bank draft and i don't even know what it is...
please help me
note
i will give them a chick of 10000 GBP from my father who has an account with lioyd's bank in london..
will this be enough ??
please help me as soon as possible and i will be waiting for an answer

It may be that the proof you are showng is not acceptable to her and she wants you to get the bank Draft. Bank draft looks similar to a check, but it has the actual monetary value. Anybody can encash it as long as their name shows on the document. You better ask them( again if there is a chance) if it is just for the proof of money in the bank before you proceed further. do you mean that i have to pay for this bank draft as if i am taking a traveler's chick???,and as i understod i think that they want me to transfer the money to a canidian bank, and i have sent to some bakns like TD canada trust but the answered that i can't open any account in canada untile i land there,so what is the solution for my problem ???

You can open an account with Royal bank of Canada (www.royalbank.com) and open an account. Actaully you can search this site for opening ur acct. & you can also get the phone no in this site.
