What store do you get your Colmans from?

price chopper here in toronto has both versions of colmans mustard. well the one at victoria park does. plus theres a few british sweet shops about where you can pick up hp sauce and heinz beans and tea and stuff like that.

And this: http://www.cscb.ca/archive/archive-preview.cfm?ID=7944

Google turns up lots of stuff.

The issue seems to be the ratio of beans to sauce.

Ok the best baked beans in the country so far are a brand by

Clark - Beans in tomato sauce. we buy them from a North West Company called Giant Tiger in Winnipeg for 69c.

And considering we brought the last 114 cans of Marks and Spencer beans when they closed here for $1.25.

The can states
manufactured for la maison des incontournables
Anjou Canada
Customer Service
1-800- 684 6554

Track them down you'll not regret it.

We have brought every brand we have found on our travels to Montreal, Toronto, Regina, Saskatoon, Edmonton, Calgary, Panorama and the USA.

PS - Heinz Beans are like day old beans with the heat left on. Thick and stodgey. Don't buy the Pork & Beans unless you enjoy draining the Pork fat into a sauce pan and smothering the beans.

That's weird. I find them watery (and bland and tasteless).

You'll find that because you added to much water trying to shake them all out of the tin.
