We arrive in Canada permanently tomorrow evening
I just wanted to post a quick thank you to everyone on this forum who has helped answering my (many) questions throughout this whole process, and those who have shared information - this forum is a gold mine and a life saver! We landed last year but this is finally the day we arrive to start our new lives. We're very nervous, but also excited and hopeful and keen to get going.
We left Scotland on Tuesday and have spent a couple of days in Iceland which was a great idea - i was a wreck when we left; I hadn't slept enough for days, or eaten enough, and my brain was just about melted and coming out my ears! Now I've had a chance to recharge a little bit I'm ready to try and make our new life
So thanks again to the BE forum and all the helpful people here. Without it we'd probably have thought we weren't eligible - no suitable jobs - but instead here we are!
I look forward to posting in the Canniversary forum

Thanks everyone
yes I'd recommend Iceland as a stop over... Only downside is its expensive so probably not what you want with a family to feed!
