Default Arriving after landing

Hi I'm sure someone will be able to help!
We landed back in October last year and are moving out permanently this August. Does anyone know what we do when we arrive this time? We obviously don't go through immigration again but do we go through normal passport control or are we likely to be taken aside and asked more questions?
Also, the removal company who came to give a quote the other day, said that you can only pack costume jewellery in the container and you have to take the rest with you. I can imagine walking through customs like Mr T wearing as much as possible!!!
Seriously, I guess you have to put it in your hand luggage???

no need to worry, we landed in 2005 and have gone in and out 6 times since then it was pretty straight forward you wont need to go to to a special corner at the airport

I packed most of my jewellery in with my clothes and came over in the container. The really sentimental pieces, and most expensive items, I carried in my huge handbag! This handbag has also had to carry two cameras as checkout count them each as one item of hand luggage, surprising what you can get in a handbag
