Applying for a work permit within Canada

Hi
I have applied for a work permit from within Canada.(husband is here on a student visa, so I qualify to apply)
On CIC's website it lists the times for processing. such as applications received up to 21st June it takes 31days..Is this 31 business days or just 31 days.

Ella, mine took all of 3 weeks to arrive, after HRDC approval of the job offer. The company applied through the Oakville HRDC office as they said

They were not as hard nosed as some other offices

My approval letter came from the UK, not sure if there are different time lines here in Canada?
