Applying for DVLA drivers record
#1
Hi - can anyone advise how I apply for my DVLA drivers record (in this instance google has not been my friend)?
Thanks in advance.
Stuart.

I just sent a letter to their address in Swansea asking for a copy of my drivers record and they sent it - from memory I also had to send £10. Is there not something on the DVLA website?

I sent off for mine and it took about 12 days.

Release of information about yourself from the driver licence records
Requests for information must be made in writing providing your full name and address details, driver licence number or your date of birth if your driver licence number isn’t known. The fee for this service is £5.00 and requests should be sent to DCS (Data Subject Enquiries) D4, DVLA, Swansea SA6 7JL.

At the risk of sounding dumb, will DVLA send your driver's record to a Canadian address or will they only send it to the last UK address on your drivers licence?
And if you have to apply by letter, how do you send payment in mail from Canada?
