We move to Canmore in September. We are not taking any furniture so we are looking for a company that will just take freight ie, boxes. Can anyone recommend a company they have used for this purpose; and if you have any contact numbers that would be great?
Thanks,
Rob.

Hi - we're just in the process of packing up our boxes to get them shipped out next week. We're not taking furniture either, so I rang around getting quotes from various companies that other people on this site had previously used (Advance Forwarding, Whites, Robinsons, excess international and Independent Freight).
We've decided on Independent Freight; they seem really friendly and are helpful. We're sending just one pallet of stuff (pallet measures 1m x 1.2m and 2.2m high) and that costs £450 to Vancouver. We just pack our own boxes and are dropping them off (they do collect but it costs a bit more). It takes around 6 weeks to arrive in Vancouver.
I'll let you know more once we've actually used them!

We are going to use Anglo Pacific, they were recommended to us and have been really helpful and their quote was not too bad either!
