I only half jest. On my first trip back I borrowed a suitcase from the MIL - my goodies bag was bursting at the seams

Second trip - hardly anything - just Calpol and a couple of bits.

Having said that, I prefer the low salt bisto granules to others. I mean, it's a bundle of chemicals anyway, might as well mitigate the sodium intake!

Nowadays, I'm cured thank you. Not much on the cravings list at all - apart from fresh baby sweetcorn which I still haven't seen anywhere (easily accessible).

PS - are you flying home direct to Edmonton, or is there any way I can hijack your car on the highway up from Calgary ?

Not Bisto Best, which is the only gluten free variety of Bisto.

My wife declared that she was bringing in Tesco's instant gravy powder when she returned into Ottawa last May - it was confiscated

Do you know why? I wonder if people think their are meat products in 'Beef Gravy' etc - but there really are not - well, not in Bisto anyway. That stuff's been no-where near an animal, apart from the one's grazing outside the chemical plant where it's made....

Some of the Bisto's do have meat extract and thats not allowed, just check the ingredients, any meat at all and its a no go.
