Anyone going to Cananda Live in Sept?
Just curious if anyone is going, sounds quite interesting, or if anyone has been to any of these before?

Didn't know it was a new thing, we are going as they seem to be offering some good information, although we have our visas, but not moved yet.

A lot of these events seem to be a money maker for the organisers. It is doubtful visitors will not get to see a full picture of the country. I guess the acid test is to see who is exhibiting there, often it is moving companies and immigration agents.
More information on the Internet and by doing some legwork.

We've spent hours on the internet and done plenty of legwork but are just going to see what its like, only costing £10 to get in and its a day out!

Got ours from WHSmith. It is £10 for 2 tickets and you can go both days on the one ticket, if you so wish.

I'd be interested to hear what people think of Canada Live - I was asked to participate, but due to other commitments I had to decline.
It would be good to know what the 'real' reaction is and not just advertising spin on number through the door etc.

Is this just another one of those things to gather more business for a large-scale immigration attorney like 4Corners used to do?
My OH saw one in the paper this week, taking place tomorrow in Manchester. I emailed them and they called me back from Quebec. It's being ran by Willis and Brazolot who want £10 in advance for a ticket or £25 at the door. I couldn't see them doing much more there than a basic CIC eligibility test so we decided against it.
