Yes, Exodus on Kodi works great. I recently bought this box for $60 and had it up and running in minutes.

https://www.amazon.ca/gp/product/B01...?ie=UTF8&psc=1

Wont be too much longer and these boxes will be banned for sale in Canada.

You probably mean 20 pounds a month but, no, that's not expensive if it's replacing a Canadian TV service and neither is the £29 package that includes all the Sky/BT sports as well as Sportsnet and TSN ones.

Of course it's probably not legal, just as many of the streaming sites are not, and are presumably subject to being caught up with and shut down even if only temporary and just as unpredictable as others.

It sounds good, but if I took that, I'd still need internet and phone and the total cost would not be an improvement.

Then download Kodi onto your laptop. I find it works much better than the box which starts to fill up and get caching issues. I agree about Exodus, its one of the best.

Anyone using a VPN router setup that still works reliably for the BBC? HMA don't seem to have the instructions for my VPN router to work with DD-WRT firmware anymore?

Has anyone tried Unblockus with Netflix recently?

No, that's what made us switch to Overplay, not only was it not working for Netflix ( it worked for BBC etc ) but was actually stopping us using Netflix Canada if it was on.

After much to and fro I switched and now don't bother switching Netflix at all, I just use the blocker for BBC etc on all devices

That's what we do with UnoTelly. At least Netflix Canada still works even with UnoTelly set up, I just have redirection for Netflix shut off (the "region picker" in Dynamo is set to "off"). But everything else is still working, including some other things like the US TV networks (CBS, ABC, etc) and other region-blocked content.

They (unblockus) cannot get Netflix working on the AppleTV. This is their reply to my support case last year.

Thanks for contacting us today

Unfortunately we do not have solution for Apple TV at the moment because the Netflix app is currently connecting without DNS lookup and bypasses DNS overrides.

In the meantime, we suggest accessing Netflix using a computer (PC or Mac) in order to stream contents from other regions.

Now I only use them for BBC iPlayer.
