Any Toolmakers out there ???
#1
Hi there,
Would love to here from any tool makers out in Canada. My visa application is dependant on a job offer which then needs to get approved by the Canadian human recourses department.
I have a possible job offer in Ottawa so i would love to hear from other toolmakers where ever you are. I assume i NEED to go to Ontario for manufacturing or do i ?
Any advise and help would be much appreciated.
Thanks

I have a 20 year old and a 16 year old which were 15 and 11 when we came, the boys love it here and would not go back to the UK they have a better quality of life here.
We live north of Barrie we are about 30 mins from it we were going to live there but we arrived in winter and the travelling would of been too much as hubby works near Toronto. He gets 3 weeks holidays and all the bank holidays, dont worry about questions if i can help i will.

Anyway, its interesting your son was 15 when you moved. I really worry it could mess up my boys final years of education emigrating. My eldest son is 14 followed close behind by his brother. My daughter is only 7 so dont feel she would have any problem. How did your 15 year old settle in. Was he behind or infront of others his age. Do you feel he is ready for the Canadien leaving exams. This problem is a major sticking point with me and my wife so its interesting to hear how your sons have adapted.

Because he's already been sentenced to 250 hours community service for wearing white socks after Labour Day?
