Of course. Advertising people, like the products and services they promote, never do anything wrong.

The long winter evenings must have just flown by eh?

My own particular union is between a Purchasing/Logistics/Supply Chain person with one degree (me) and a Special Needs teacher with two degrees (Mrs AX). So we have absolutely nothing in common workwise. Which is probably a good thing!

How soon we forget the bearded git from the Canadian Tire ads.

And Gordon Pape (what happened to him, anyway?).

Who is Gordon Pape.

I kind of miss the Canadian Tire chap. I feel a campaign for his reinstatement coming on.

The Canadian Tire HQ is a five minute walk away from where I work. Perhaps I should picket there every lunch time, until they cede to my demand for his reinstatement...

I think you'll be doing Canada a greater service if you just have lunch.

Pape was a total w****r who used to do the Canadian Home Income Plan ads. He raised my blood pressure in a way that bearded git couldn't. Not even Fred Langan comes close and that's saying something.

I have watched the Farce a couple of times but gave up waiting for something funny.

I believe that Pape is some sort of financial pundit. I only know him from TV ads in which he encourages (encouraged) seniors to piss away their children's inheritance.

Too true. Maybe it was 22minutes?

Thats it in a nutshell. Until I inherit I am very much against that idea...until I inherit!

22 minutes suffered greatly when Rick left. I am a big fan of satire (go figure), which is why I now only watch Mercer's own shows.

uh well thanks for the replies, even though 95% aren't particularly useful!

So those of you that are marketers, would you recommend doing the diploma and then the certificate or just skipping the diploma and doing the certificate? I have a business degree but no marketing experience. Thanks!
