At the moment we are sat in the UK with fingers crossed awaiting a LMO decision.
Reading the Wiki links above if the LMO is positive then we have 2 choices.
Choice 1: We send off the LMO reference plus all relevant docs to Canadian High Commision then sit for another 6 - 8 weeks with our fingers crossed.
Choice 2: We pack our LMO reference plus all relevant docs, book our flights and present all relevant docs at POE.
Am I reading the Wiki correctly. Am I missing something?
The reason I ask is because we as a family are good to go. House sold, living in rental, money in bank and I only have to give 2 weeks notice
.
Any help will be great.

Pretty sure this is correct
Immigration officer might get a bit grumpy as I assume there is more paperwork - but legally, it is fine.

HI GC44
We went for choice 2 and had no problems at immigration in Calgary. We just presented all our documentation in a folder on landing and it was smooth sailing.
Good luck

You can do Choice 2 but ONLY if you do not need to have medicals for the job you will be doing.

Thanks everyone.
If LMO passes
we would take choice 2. Our potential new employer wants us over there yesterday. I don't think medicals will apply to our new roles.
It just seems a bit strange that one option entails 2 to 3 months of nail biting and the other option may cost a sleepless night the night before landing!
Cheers everyone

, job offer, goods to follow and proof of funds (although this shouldn't be needed). Is there anything obvious that I haven't mentioned?
