Less than a week to go before we fly in to Calgary enroute to Edmonton, nerves starting to kick in, are we doing the right thing etc. Uplifting replies highlighting the positive aspects of life in Canada would be appreciated!
Thanks to all of you who have answered questions etc over the past weeks - it has been loads of helps

Everytime you get a panic thought replace it with a thought of why you applied to go in the first place- works for me.
Enjoy your new life.

The last couple of weeks before you fly are awful, but you will get there and you can sit back and relax once you get on that plane!
All the very best of luck and enjoy your new life in Edmonton!

I agree with Lisa - the last few weeks before you go are horrid and then it is such a relief when you sit on the plane.
Take it easy and just remember to take things in your stride - everything is alot different to the UK and definitely not the same as going somewhere on a vacation.
Been here just over 2 weeks and think the realisation is now setting in that I am not going back to the UK - now that is the scarty part.
Good luck
