Recently a BE member lost their dog which to us who have owned dogs know how much they become part of the family and how we miss them.
I dare any dog reader who reads the next 2 articles not to have a lump in their throat or a tear in their eyes.
If only humans would treat each other the same way dogs treat their human owners.

Dogs are in my opinion the most amazing animals on the planet. They ask for so little and give so much back. They really are man's best friend.

Errr my cats pretty special
Maybe when I retire I will go back to owning a dog however getting up at 5am on a February morning when its minus 40C to walk it might soon wear off.

I would trade any diamond in the world to have all the dogs back that I have loved and lost. Lost my nearly 16 year old black lab just before Christmas and have a yellow one who is not far from the big park in the sky. Keep your diamonds and I'll keep him.
